Terms for Best Rates

Best rates apply when all of the following terms are met:

  • Same hotel
  • Same night of stay (Arrival date/departure date)
  • Same number of guests
  • Same guest room type
  • Same accommodation plan
  • Same stay times (Check-in/check-out times)
  • Same payment method
  • Same terms of cancellation
  • Reservations through the official website
*Some plans may be sold at the same prices as those on various other reservation websites.
*Accommodation rates offered on the official website and various other reservation sites fluctuate daily according to the room vacancy and sales situation.

Best Rates not Applicable

Best rates are not applicable in the following cases:

  • Prices that are not generally disclosed, such as those in corporate contracts
  • Prices for sales independently conducted by other various reservation websites and travel agencies (including prices for tour packages, plans that include an airline or other ticket/transportation expenses, etc.)
  • Campaign prices, members-only prices and prices following the application of coupons that are offered by other various reservation websites
  • Prices that fluctuate due to foreign exchange rates, payment fees, etc.

FAQ

[Month A] [Day A] (Mon.) and [Month A] [Day B] (Mon.) are both weekdays, yet reservations for Day B are being sold at lower prices.
Accommodation rates fluctuate day by day according to the reservation and room vacancy situation, among other factors.
As such, price comparisons apply for reservation terms with the same night of stay (arrival date/departure date).
I made a reservation for one night's stay on [Day A]. However, a lower price for [Day A] is shown under the "Multi-Night Stay Discount Plan" on another company's reservation website.
The terms are not the same for both. One is priced on the terms of a multi-night stay. The other is based on a reservation for a single night.
When reservations are not for the same night of stay (arrival date/departure date) and/or with the same terms, they are not applicable for price comparisons.
On other reservation websites, lower prices are shown upon using a coupon. Are prices on the official website invariably lower than that?
On other companies' reservation websites, point awards, coupons, campaigns and other offers unique to those websites may result in different prices being shown.
Prices that include such discounts reflect different reservation terms. As such, they cannot be uniformly compared with prices on the official website.
