Visitors can enjoy a stroll through the iconic "Sakura-dori" (Cherry Blossom Avenue) and around Shinobazu Pond under the stunning rows of pink trees. Recognized as one of Japan’s Top 100 Cherry Blossom Spots, the park hosts vibrant events like the Cherry Blossom Festival and enchanting evening illuminations from late March to early April.

Koganei Park

Accessible by bus from JR Musashi-Koganei Station;
alight at the "Koganei Koen Nishiguchi" stop.
Ranked as one of Japan’s Top 100 Cherry Blossom Spots, Koganei Park is home to approximately 1,400 cherry trees of 50 different varieties, including Yamazakura, Satozakura, and Oshimazakura. The park's dedicated "Sakura-no-En" (Cherry Blossom Garden) features a cluster of about 400 trees, making it a highly popular destination for Hanami.
Adjacent to the park is the Tamagawa Josue aqueduct, where you can view the famous "Koganei Sakura," which celebrated its 100th anniversary as a Nationally Designated Scenic Spot in 2024. With its vast grounds, rich natural beauty, and various leisure facilities, the park offers an enriching experience in every season.

Showa Memorial Park

Asukayama Park

Just a short walk from JR Oji Station
Asukayama Park’s history dates back to the Edo period, when the eighth Shogun, Tokugawa Yoshimune, planted cherry trees and opened the area to the public. As one of Japan’s first public parks, it allows visitors to enjoy the blossoms while reflecting on a Hanami tradition that has thrived here for centuries.
The park is also deeply connected to Eiichi Shibusawa, the face of the Japanese 10,000 yen note. It houses the Shibusawa Memorial Museum, including the "Bankoro" and "Seifun Bunko" both designated as National Important Cultural Properties. With playgrounds and restaurants on-site, it’s a versatile park where visitors of all ages can enjoy both learning and leisure.

Oi Futo Chuo Kaihin Park Sports Forest

Take a bus from JR Omori Station,
alight at the "Chuo Koen" stop, and walk for 5 min.
Oi Futo Chuo Kaihin Park is a leisure destination consisting of two areas: "Sports Forest" and "Nagisa Forest" (Beach Forest). Located right along the canal of Tokyo Bay, visitors can enjoy a wealth of recreational facilities alongside rich nature that serves as a habitat for diverse flora and fauna.
The park is home to about 130 cherry trees, including Somei-Yoshino and Oshimazakura. In particular, the "Sakura Hiroba" (Cherry Blossom Plaza) within the Sports Forest is a popular Hanami spot where about 80 cherry trees bloom in vibrant, spectacular fashion.
